Prince Harry formally states he now resides in the United States

Prince Harry, the son of King Charles III and fifth in line to the British throne, has officially said he now lives in the US.

Four years after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle moved to a house in Southern California, a travel company he owns told British authorities this week that he now lives in the United States.

The official recognition shows that the prince is becoming more distant from Britain. He and Meghan left their royal responsibilities to make a lot of money from media deals in America. Since then, Harry has kept saying bad things about the royal family, like accusing them of being unconsciously racist in a Netflix series and in his own book, “Spare. ”

Travalyst Ltd, a company mostly owned by Harry and started in 2020 to promote sustainable tourism, submitted their paperwork to Companies House on Monday. This agency oversees the creation of UK companies.

The paperwork makes Harry even more separate from his job as part of the king’s advisors. These advisors can take over the king’s duties if he is sick or away.

Harry is still considered a counselor of state, but the crown told the UK Parliament that only working royal family members will actually take over for the monarch.

Harry and Meghan now live in a rich area called Montecito with their children. But people are also paying close attention to Harry’s move to the US.

The Heritage Foundation, a group that thinks conservatively, has spoken out against the Department of Homeland Security’s choice to give Harry a visa for the US, even though he admitted to using drugs in “Spare. ”

The foundation wants the department to show Harry’s immigration file to the judge. They think Harry may have lied on his visa application or got special treatment because people with a history of drug use are usually not allowed to get a visa.
