The Israeli military has taken back all the towns near the Gaza border, but there are still fights happening with Palestinian gunmen.
Earlier, the army said that fighting was happening in “seven or eight” locations within Israel.
As we mentioned earlier, other countries are helping their citizens leave Israel.
Israel’s foreign minister also mentioned simultaneously that flights are being organized to bring Israeli military reservists who live in other countries back to Israel.
Eli Cohen mentioned that many Israelis living abroad have asked to come back soon and help out by volunteering.
Most Israeli citizens must serve in the military.
