160 passengers escape death after United Airlines aircraft rattle off runway in Houston

Passengers on a United Airlines plane in Houston had to get off the plane after it went off the runway and got stuck in the grass on Friday morning.

United Airlines said that the 160 passengers and six crew members did not get hurt. The video after the plane landed shows it leaning to one side with one wing almost touching the ground.

Flight 2477 from Memphis, Tennessee arrived at Bush Intercontinental Airport at 8 a.m the Boeing 737 Max 8 plane went off the runway and was moving towards a terminal gate, the Houston Airport System said.

United’s crew brought stairs to the plane and helped all passengers get off safely.

The airline did not say right away what made the plane go off the runway. The NTSB and FAA are looking into it.

“All passengers have been taken by bus to the terminal and are getting help from our team to catch their next flight and with anything else they need. ” We are taking bags off the plane and will try to give them back to the customers as soon as we can,” United said. “We will team up with NTSB, FAA and Boeing to figure out what happened. ”

Bush Intercontinental Airport said that flights were still going in and out without any problems.

Another plane from United had a tire that came off while it was taking off from San Francisco on Thursday. It managed to land safely in Los Angeles, and no one got hurt.
