The neighbour on Belsize Avenue, Peterborough, was threatened by Gabriella Batchelor, 23.
When urged to speak more quietly on the phone, the neighbouring woman threatened to kill him and burn down his home.
On September 7, 2020, at around 1:00 a.m., Gabriella Batchelor, 23, started talking loudly at her mother’s house in Peterborough.
Her next-door neighbour tried to quiet her down by banging on the wall because she was speaking so loudly.
But minutes later, Batchelor had made her way to his front door with a kitchen knife, and started banging and shouting abuse.
She threatened to burn the house down and set fire to the cars outside, and shouted: ‘I am going to kill you, I am going to kill your family.’
Batchelor went back inside after her tirade of abuse, but the police arrived shortly afterwards.
She refused to let them inside the house, but they forced entry, arrested her and found the knife hidden under a pillow.

Batchelor pleaded guilty to making threats to kill and having a knife in public at Peterborough Crown Court.
She avoided jail with a 12-month sentence, suspended for 24 months, and was handed a 12-month community order and two-year restraining order.
PC Katie Brown said: ‘Batchelor’s threatening behaviour was completely unacceptable.
‘No one should feel scared or at risk in their own home and this type of abuse will not be tolerated.’
