We attacked Hamas because they erected roadblocks to prevent Gazans from fleeing – IDF

We just received news from Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari. He claims that Hamas has created barriers on the roads to prevent people from leaving the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Hagari says Israel removed the roadblocks at night “so that people can leave the area”.

During a daily meeting with reporters, Hagari spoke directly to people in northern Gaza. He wanted to tell them that Hamas and its leaders are taking advantage of them. They are using their houses, schools, and hospitals, as well as hiding in underground places, near schools and hospitals.

Earlier this month, Israel told people in northern Gaza to go to the south. However, attacks on southern regions, like the city of Khan Younis, have not stopped.

Hagari was also asked if the IDF was getting ready to possibly attack Iran by air.

He said that Iran is causing problems in the Middle East and that we need to always stay alert. However, he mentioned that they are currently focused on the fighting in Gaza.
