Israel bombed heavily in the Gaza Strip overnight.
Salah Al-Arja, who lives in Rafah in the south of the territory, said his house was destroyed while they were sleeping even though he thought they were in a safe place.
“We were sleeping and thought we were safe in Rafah. But at 10:20, they attacked with barrels and destroyed everything. There were children, women, and people who died,” he told Reuters.
“No place is safe in Rafah, Khan Younis, Gaza, or Dier. They lied about it being safe and made us leave, but then they bombed us anyway, even in crowded areas. ”
“They say it’s safe here, but it’s not. The whole Gaza strip is dangerous, and they’re lying to us. ”
