Teenager passes away in hospital after being stabbed twice during a fight

A knife attack in a town centre claimed the life of a 19-year-old guy.

Violence erupted shortly after midnight on Saturday in Ormskirk, Lancashire, and the kid was stabbed as a result.

Emergency personnel arrived on the scene in Railway Road quickly and located the victim nearby, but they were unable to save him.

After the incident, he passed away in the hospital.

A second 19-year-old was also stabbed; he was transported to the hospital, but it is not believed that his injuries are life-threatening.

Two men, both 19 years old, have been detained on affray suspicion after being arrested.

There is a substantial police presence in the region, and officers have taped off several roads to create a large-scale cordon in the town.

Police stated that they responded to allegations of a “ongoing disturbance” near Railway Road at 12.05am.

According to a Lancashire Constabulary spokesman, a 19-year-old was discovered nearby with stab wounds. He tragically passed away later in the hospital despite the best efforts of the emergency personnel.

‘Two 19-year-old men, one from Maghull and one from Liverpool, have been detained on suspicion of affray. They are still being held as of right now.

The arrests are related to a fight between many individuals that happened in Railway Road. The town centre has designated a considerable area as a crime scene.
