We have been telling people that an Israeli tank was spotted on an important road that goes from the top to the bottom of the Gaza Strip. A confirmed video shows a tank shooting at a car driving north on the Salah-al-Din road, near Gaza City.
The Israeli military has chosen not to disclose where it is located.
People who saw what happened earlier told a news agency that tanks went into the Zaytun district on the southern outskirts of Gaza City.
“They have blocked the Salah-al-Din road and are shooting at any vehicle that tries to drive on it,” said one person who lives there, but did not want to reveal their name. The BBC cannot confirm if the claim is true.
The IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) said earlier that in the past 24 hours, they attacked 600 places and many Hamas fighters were killed during fights that happened overnight.
