Russian bank vice president dies after she drowns in mystery

The death of a 28-year-old bank executive from Russia who fell from her apartment window is shrouded in mystery.

The early hours of last Friday, Kristina Baikova, a vice president of Loko-Bank, allegedly fell from her Moscow flat on the 11th floor.

Immediately, according to MailOnline.

It’s the most recent unsolved death involving prominent political and commercial people from Russia.

She had brought Andrei, a 34-year-old friend, over for a drink, and Ms. Baikova was with him.

An investigation into her death has been launched.

Other suspicious deaths since the start of Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine include that of Russian defence official Marina Yankina, 58, in February this year. Like Ms Baikova, she fell to her death from an apartment window.

As head of the financial support department of the Ministry of Defence, Ms Yankina was a key figure in the funding of the war.
