Police hunt owner of XL Bully after man mauled in a park

The police are searching for the person who owns a large and aggressive dog called an XL Bully because it attacked a man yesterday evening.

The person in their 40s got bitten in Pasley Park, Southwark. Then, the owner of the dog ran away with it.

It is thought to be a type of dog called the XL Bully breed.

The police were called by LAS (London Ambulance Service) at 6:07pm on Friday, September 22nd to Pasley Park SE17. They were called because a man in his 40s was bitten by a dog. He went to the hospital because his arm was hurt.

The person who owns the dog left the area with the dog before the police arrived. People think that the dog is a big gray-colored breed called an XL Bully. No one has been arrested yet, but the police are still investigating.

The type of dog will be included in the Dangerous Dogs Act because there have been many deadly attacks.
