Palestinian villagers attacked after Israeli settlers killed

Following the killing of four Israeli Israelis in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday, dozens of Palestinian villages were attacked by settlers overnight, a Palestinian official who tracks settler violence said CNN on Wednesday.

Ghassan Douglas, the official, estimates that at least 37 locals were hurt by live or rubber-coated bullets, stones or tear gas.

He said that 147 vehicles, including an ambulance, were hit by stones or set on fire, in addition to 23 houses, 16 shops, and crops burned in fields.
