Witnesses said that a man was “stabbed in the chest” following a knife struggle that broke out in the open.
Just before 4 o’clock this afternoon, police were summoned to Chatterton Road in Bromley, south-east London.
When officers and London Ambulance Service crews arrived, they discovered a guy who had been stabbed in the chest.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition is currently unknown.




No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
One witness said: ‘A violent altercation ensued between two individuals brandishing knives, resulting in one of them sustaining critical injuries.’
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: ‘Police were called at 3.56pm on Monday, 15 May to a report of an altercation on Chatterton Road, Bromley.
‘Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service.
‘A man, aged in his 20s, was found with stab wounds to his chest and taken to hospital.
‘We await an update on his condition.
‘No arrests have been made; enquiries continue.’
