Social media users who identified themselves as resort guests wrote about the incident.
I believe someone recently passed away at our motel. We received a call at 7:30 telling us not to go outside on the balconies due to a medical emergency, and then we were redirected, said one Reddit member.
Then, when we got outside, we saw a tent that had been taped up and was put up directly beneath a balcony. and several police vans, as well as a van marked “crime scene investigators.”
“It’s really sad, but I believe someone jumped off the balcony because of where it happened.”
Boom’s demise follows the passing of an 83-year-old veteran on a ride at Walt Disney World. According to the sheriff’s office incident report from September 25, 2022, Joseph Masters and his wife Alice were riding the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in the Magic Kingdom when he abruptly fainted.
According to reports, Alice begged for assistance and made several calls to her family. After the ride, Masters was given CPR by Disney security and employees. He was taken seriously ill and eventually declared dead at Celebration Hospital.
