A man was taken into custody after a young woman died in a car accident close to Bradford city center.
Yesterday at 4:37pm, the police were called to Hamm Strasse in a city in West Yorkshire. They were responding to an incident where a blue BMW car had collided with a person walking.
She was seriously hurt and taken to the hospital, but sadly she died soon after.
Investigators closed off the area where the crash happened. The crash happened near a busy intersection with Manningham Road.
The police said that the man driving the BMW 320D M sport was arrested because they think he caused someone’s death by driving dangerously.
Detective Sergeant Mick Kilburn from the Major Collision and Inquiry Team of West Yorkshire Police said: “We are still investigating this very serious crash, where a young woman sadly died. ”
I want to talk to anyone who saw the accident or has a video of it happening, or the BMW just before it occurred.
