Following the single stabbing death of another man, a man has been charged with murder.
Stefan Stelian Moraru, 44, died today, and Migen Emilova, 35, of no fixed abode, was charged with murder.
About six in the morning on Monday, Mr. Moraru was discovered gravely hurt in Chandos Avenue in Barnet, London, and he passed away there.
The Romanian national had been hurt prior to a “disturbance or altercation,” according to the Met Police, who shortly after opened a murder inquiry.
A post-mortem examination held on Tuesday confirmed he died from a stab wound to the heart, they added.
Mr Moraru’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
Emilova will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (March 27).
Detectives have also arrested three more men on suspicion of murder. Two men, aged 46 and 39, remain in custody at a north London police station.
A 29-year-old man has been bailed pending further enquiries.
