Liberals declare intention to “solve housing crisis” and issue call to action

The Canadian government is making a plan to fix the housing problem as it announces to give tax breaks to help build more homes and give over a billion dollars to help homeless people. They also want to build more homes on public land all over the country.

The government wrote a 28-page document to talk about money and how expensive things are. They want to show they are thinking about how to make things more affordable for people. This comes before they make a plan for how to spend money. Ottawa is telling provinces, territories, and cities that they also need to do more. They are calling the plan a “call to action. ”
