Haaland to miss match against Luton Town in Premier League for Manchester City

Erling Haaland is not playing for Manchester City against Luton Town because he is injured.

The 23-year-old has played in all 15 of Manchester City’s Premier League games this season and scored 14 goals. But he won’t be playing in the game against the Hatters, according to The Athletic.

Pep Guardiola told Sky Sports that the issue is a problem with bone stress in his feet. After the last game against Aston Villa, he felt this way and he can’t play.

He said he doesn’t know how bad the injury is. “We will wait and see what happens each week and each day. ”

Manchester City have most of their players available, but Kevin De Bruyne is still out with an injury.

Jeremy Doku has a small muscle injury and might be able to play on Sunday at Kenilworth Road, but he might not be allowed to play to avoid making the injury worse.

Manchester City are expected to win against Luton, even though their top goal scorer is not playing. If they win, they will be only four points behind Liverpool in the league.

A win would bring City closer to the teams at the top of the league, narrowing the gap to just four points between them and the other top teams like Arsenal and Aston Villa. Currently, City is in fourth place in the league.

After playing at Luton on Wednesday, Manchester City will play against Red Star in the Champions League next.

Haaland may not play in the game because his team has already secured first place and they don’t want to take any chances with his health.
