Pep Guardiola told Sky Sports that the issue is a problem with bone stress in his feet. After the last game against Aston Villa, he felt this way and he can’t play.
He said he doesn’t know how bad the injury is. “We will wait and see what happens each week and each day. ”
Manchester City have most of their players available, but Kevin De Bruyne is still out with an injury.
Jeremy Doku has a small muscle injury and might be able to play on Sunday at Kenilworth Road, but he might not be allowed to play to avoid making the injury worse.
Manchester City are expected to win against Luton, even though their top goal scorer is not playing. If they win, they will be only four points behind Liverpool in the league.
