Gaetz’s ‘badgering witness’ point of contention among lawmakers

There will now be a brief break while members of the House committee disagree on Matt Gaetz‘s line of inquiry.

Gaetz, a Republican congressman, repeatedly stopped Garland as the witness attempted to respond to questions, as we just mentioned. This prompted one lawmaker to accuse the congressman of “badgering the witness”

Another lawmaker chimes in, “Let him answer the question.”
