A woman who was “loved by many” has received tributes following her weekend death in Plymouth.
Police were summoned to a home in Ilbert Street at around 4.15 p.m. on Saturday after receiving complaints of worries for the safety of a woman, and Hazel Huggins, 53, was discovered inside.
Emergency first aid was administered after officers forcibly entered the residence, but Hazel was pronounced dead on the scene.
On July 31, Bradley Huggins, 24, of Ilbert Street, Plymouth, is scheduled to appear before Plymouth Magistrates’ Court on a charge of murder.
It is assumed that they knew one another.
“Hazel was a bright shining light and loved by many,” claimed Hazel’s family. The family requests privacy at this time as they are grieving their loss.
