Former prime minister Brian Mulroney will be remembered at a special funeral in Montreal on March 23.
Mulroney passed away in February. A 29-year-old person fell at their home in Palm Beach and is now in a hospital in Florida. He was 84 years old.
When members of Parliament come back to work in Ottawa on March 18th, they will honor Canada’s 18th prime minister in the House of Commons.
People can go to Parliament Hill in Ottawa to show their respect for Mulroney when he is lying in state.
People in Montreal will have a chance to publicly honor him while his casket is not on the Hill.

Trudeau said that Brian Mulroney always worked for Canada and he released some information about the funeral plan on Tuesday.
“He believed in the things that bring us together as Canadians and will always be remembered for working for the benefit of everyone. ” His funeral will be a chance to show respect for the great impact he had on our country, which will last for a long time.
Mulroney was the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada and he was prime minister for almost nine years from 1984 to 1993.
