A delivery truck driver died in a crash at an industrial area in Mississauga on Wednesday afternoon.
Peel police got a call at 4:45 pm about a car crash in the parking lot near Tomken Road and Courtney Park Drive East.
The word “Const. ” means “constitution” Richard Chin said that the police and medical personnel found a delivery truck that had crashed into a parked cargo trailer.
“Sadly, the person driving the truck died despite the emergency service personnel’s best efforts,” he said.
The delivery company UPS said that one of its workers was part of the incident and is working with the police to look into what happened.
We don’t know why the accident happened.
“I can’t share much more information because the investigation is still in the early stages,” Chin said.
When they asked if the driver might have had a medical problem, he said they were looking into all reasons.
“We are asking anyone who was in the area to contact our Major Collision Bureau if they saw anything,” Chin said.
