At least 60 people got hurt on Friday when a seven-car passenger train crashed into a locomotive and an empty train car in Buenos Aires. Local officials did not say how bad the injuries were.
Firefighters, police officers, and ambulances were at the place, getting people out and taking the hurt to hospitals.
TV and flying camera footage showed the trains facing each other on a bridge over a street in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The front car of the train that carries people went off the track and got broken in the crash.
Government train company Trenes Argentinos said the crash happened at 10:31 am and they will investigate what caused it.
“Health authorities at the scene said at least 60 people have different levels of injuries,” according to a statement.
Train services on the San Martin line were stopped, it said.
