Beauty pageant model electrocuted on stage after grabbing faulty mic

A beauty pageant contestant, Andrea Victor, was electrocuted on stage after holding a defective microphone.

In a widely circulated video, the contestant who was taking part in the 2022 Miss Sahuayo beauty pageant in western Mexico, was seen in a dazzling feather-like multi-coloured attire dancing majestically.

During her performance, Andrea Victor in an attempt to grab the microphone got electrocuted.

A commentator could be heard saying: “She’s getting electrocuted, she’s getting electrocuted.”

Andrea eventually managed to yank it from her hand before she collapsed on stage.

After a brief break in the performance, Andrea returned to the stage to complete her speech, amid thunderous ovation from the audience.

She later joked on social media: “I came back recharged – literally.”

Andrea did not win the beauty event but was presented with the ‘Miss Sympathy’ award for getting through her microphone mishap in one piece.
