15-year-old girl killed by a bus hit

Birmingham saw the death of a teenage girl who was struck by a bus.

Yesterday at around 3 p.m., on Sheaf Lane, Sheldon, according to the police, the girl was struck by the bus.

Not long after arriving at the hospital, her death was officially declared.

The bus driver, according to West Midlands Police, is assisting with inquiries.

A young girl has unfortunately passed away, and we’ll be doing everything we can to support her family during this extraordinarily trying time, said PC Gail Arnold.

‘We’re working to establish the circumstances behind the collision and we’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, and especially anyone with dash cam footage.’
