La Liga outfit Real Mallorca has posted a message of support for midfielder Baba Iddrisu who missed the 2022 World Cup due to injury.
The Black Stars midfielder started for his club in their matchday 14 encounters against Atletico Madrid in the Spanish La Liga.
Unfortunately, he could not finish the first half of the intense encounter. In added time, he limped off and had to be substituted during the break.
After further examination, Baba Iddrisu will spend some time on the sidelines to recover club insiders told footballghana.com
This injury came as a huge blow for Black Stars coach Otto Addo ahead of the Mundial because he has been present in most of the games played under the Dortmund tactician.
The 27-year-old midfielder has made eleven appearances in the Spanish top flight this season.
Baba Iddrisu made his debut for the senior national team the Black Stars on 14th November 2019. The former Leganes B midfielder has played 18 times for the Black Stars.

The Black Stars of Ghana is in Group H alongside Uruguay, Portugal, and South Korea. Ghana will play Portugal on 24th November at the Stadium 974, South Korea on 28th November at the Education City Stadium, and play their final group game against Uruguay on 2nd December at the Al Janoub Stadium.
According to reports, Ghana will train at the famous Aspire Academy in Doha, Qatar.
The Black Stars of Ghana will take on Switzerland in an international friendly on November 17 in UAE before flying to Qatar.
