Boateng, Davies and Kwasi Wreidt win Bundesliga with Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich trio with Ghanaian backgrounds Jerome Boateng, Alphonso Davies and Kwesi Okyere Wreidt have won the Bundesliga.

The trio were part of the team that beat Werder Bremen 1-0 on Tuesday night as Bayern Munich clinched an eighth successive title.

Jerome Boateng, brother of Ghana forward Kevin Prince lasted the entire duration of the game and provided the assist for Robert Lewandowski’s match-winner.

Ghanaian born Canadian Alphonso Davies was red-carded in the 80th minute after picking a second yellow in the game.

Kwasi Okyere Wreidt only made the bench despite playing a role in their previous match against Borussia Monchengladbach.

The German giants have two games more to end the campaign but will now shift their attention to the UEFA Champions League and DFB Pokal.
