Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has raised questions about why the media and the public are so fixated on her relationship with her manager, Ricky Nana Agyemang, popularly known as Bullet. She expressed bewilderment at how false narratives about their romantic involvement continue to circulate.
The “Uber Driver” hitmaker expressed surprise that people seem to ignore other female musicians who are genuinely in romantic relationships with their managers but instead propagate false rumors about her. Wendy Shay clarified that her relationship with Bullet is purely platonic and not intimate. She described Bullet as a calm gentleman who even introduced her to Christianity, emphasizing that their connection is not romantic, as many people believe. Wendy Shay’s comments aim to dispel the persistent rumors and speculation surrounding her professional relationship with her manager.
“We have many female artistes dating their managers, but they don’t say that. They rather talk about Wendy Shay and Bullet when there is nothing going on,” she told host Andy Dosty.
