Ghanaian actor and comedian Kwadwo Nkansah, known as ‘LilWin,’ has expressed frustration over the public and media response to his recent car accident, which tragically led to the death of a 3-year-old boy on May 25, 2024.
Speaking at the Believers Worship Centre on July 1, LilWin criticized how the incident has been portrayed, denying any suggestion of intentional harm or reckless driving on his part.
In his statement, LilWin emphasized that the accident was a tragic result of unforeseen circumstances, stressing that the portrayal in the media has unfairly painted him as culpable for the incident.
He expressed deep sorrow for the victims involved and lamented the negative impact on his reputation, feeling unfairly targeted by sensationalized reporting.
LilWin was arrested on June 3, shortly after being discharged from the hospital, in connection with the accident that occurred just hours before the premiere of his movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana,’ on the same day.
