    The funeral service of the late Reverend Anthony Kwadwo Boakye was marked by a range of events and notable scenes.

    In addition to the cries and profound sorrow evident on the faces of mourners, numerous high-profile individuals were observed at the venue.

    Political figures, celebrities from the entertainment industry, and well-known religious leaders from all over the country attended the occasion.

    They came together to express solidarity, pay their final respects to the deceased, and offer condolences to the grieving family.

    President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Chief of Staff Mrs. Frema Osei Opare, Rev. Isaac Obofour, founder of the Anointed Palace Chapel, gospel musician Isaiah Ampong, and many others made a prominent appearance.

    Dressed in sombre black attire, they engaged with attendees and conveyed their respects to the departed.

    The funeral service for the late founder of Resurrection Power New Generation Church, Reverend Anthony Boakye, took place at both the Accra Sports Stadium and the Accra International Conference Centre.

    The congregation included members of the church, relatives, various security personnel, and a multitude of sympathisers from around the world.

    The funeral ceremony of the late Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye was characterised by a host of events and interesting scenes.

    Aside from the wails, and immense grief captured on the faces of sympathisers, scores of high-profile personalities were also spotted at the event grounds.

    Politicians, showbiz personalities, and popular men of God across the country graced the event.

    They solidarized, paid their last respects to the deceased, and also commiserated with the family.

    President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Chief of Staff Mrs. Frema Osei Opare, Anointed Palace Chapel founder, Rev. Isaac Obofour, gospel musician Isaiah Ampong, and many others showed up in grand style.

    Clad in black apparel, they were seen interacting with patrons and paying their last respects to the deceased.

  • Reverend Obofour donates GHC100,000 to Tema General Hospital

    Founder and General Overseer of the Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Reverend Obofour has donated some items to the Tema General Hospital to help them fight the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

    Some of the items Rev. Obofour donated include; hand sanitiser, Veronica buckets, tissues, soaps, hospital beds and an amount of GHC 100,000 among other things.

    Gospel singer, Gifty Adorye’s husband, Hopeson Adorye was also present to support Rev. Obofour during the donation.

    Rev. Obofour joins a host of influential and business moguls who have supported various hospitals in the wake of the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.

    YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, had made a donation to Ridge Hospital.

    He donated a total of 3,000 pieces of face masks to the health center to help protect the health workers from the outbreak of the coronavirus.

    Mr. Agyapong disclosed that his gesture was in line with the observance of the preventive measures of the disease being preached in this coronavirus era. He further pledged that he would extend the gesture to other hospitals as he is expecting about 100,000 more of face masks and gloves to arrive in the country.

    The MP added that Ghana should not wait for the disease to get out of hand and asked all to go by all the preventive measures to curb the situation. The head of the hospital was thankful to Kennedy Agyapong for his intervention which he said came at the right time.

  • Rev Obofour speaks about president Akufo-Addos ban on churches

    The leader and founder of Anointed Palace Chapel (APC), Reverend Obofour has reacted to a directive by President Akufo Addo to ban public gatherings which include church services in Ghana following the outbreak of coronavirus.

    In a video sighted by Zionfelix.net, Rev Obofour said he will adhere to the directive implemented because he values human life.

    Commanding a huge crowd, the Man of God stated he should be the first to adhere to measures to protect people.

    Rev Obofour revealed a mega crusade which was to be held at Takoradi and Tamala has been postponed.

    According to him, all church activities which fall within the four weeks ban on public gatherings have been cancelled.

    He said members will be updated on a new decision they will be taken.

    Rev Obofour emphasized that he is a good citizen so it is important to obey the laws of the land.

    The APC leader has therefore declared a national prayer via three times church services on his television.

    He urged Christians, Muslims and everybody to pray hard to save the world.
