Your dedication, commitment has brought you this far – Kurt Okraku tells Medeama FC

Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku, has commended Medeama for their remarkable journey to championship glory.

In a vivid demonstration of unwavering dedication and commitment, Medeama has emerged as the undisputed champion of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.

This resounding victory not only cements their place in the annals of Ghanaian football history but also grants them the prestigious opportunity to represent the nation as the sole participant in the upcoming CAF Champions League.

Kurt Okraku delivered this statement during the official launch of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League in Koforidua.

“Our meeting here today is the testament to the efforts the GFA is making to take the GPL and other products of the football association closer to the homes of Ghanaians who remain passionate about our football the passion of our dear nation,” he said.

“At this point I will like to say a hearty congratulations to Medeama Sporting Club on their remarkable victory in the 2022/23 Premier League season.

“Indeed your dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment has truly shown throughout the year resulting in a well deserved Championship,” he ended.

The launch event was graced by President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku and Mark Addo, the Vice President of the Association.

In attendance were Executive Council Members Nana Sarfo Oduro and Linford Asamoah Boadu. The special guest of honor for the occasion was Hon. Seth Kwame Acheampong, the Eastern Regional Minister.
