“We have one final left!!! Time to be all together, work, believe and have courage!!! I invite each Uruguayan to push and send good energy from wherever they are, to qualify,” Diego Godin shared on Instagram after Uruguayl’s 2-0 defeat to Portugal.

On his part, striker Luis Suarez also said, “All defeats hurt, especially in a World Cup. Now it’s time to be together as a group and not look for more excuses. Winning and qualifying, that’s our goal. Trust us that we are going to drop everything .”

The two players are expected to be in action for Uruguay when they take on Ghana in the final Group H match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Friday, December 2.
