World Cup 2022: Uruguay defender Sebastian Coates rallies teammates to fight to beat Ghana

Uruguay international, Sebastian Coates is confident that they can still advance to the knockout stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

He, however, insists that it will only be possible if the national team players fight to win the final Group H match.

In a post on social media after the 2-0 defeat to Portugal on Monday, Sebastian Coates rallied his national team to recover well and prepare for the task ahead.

“Time to recover, be positive and prepare well for the final that is coming!!! All together to achieve the first goal,” Sebastian Coates who plays for Sporting Lisbon in Portugal posted on Instagram.

The defender is expected to be in action for Uruguay when they take on Ghana in the final Group H match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Uruguay will need to win that game to stand any chance of advancing to the Round of 16 of the tournament ongoing in Qatar.

The opponent, Ghana only needs a draw to secure qualification to Round 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
