Newcastle United face stiff competition for the signature of Myron Boadu

Newcastle United are facing strong competition for the signature of Dutch born Ghanaian forward Myron Boadu.

The English Premier League club have made the prolific attacker their main target in the summer transfer window.

However, Italian sports portal Calciomercato have revealed that the player is also on the radar of European giants AC Milan and Bundesliga side Bayern Leverkusen.

The 20 million Euros rated forward has been in imperious form this season, netting 19 goals in all competitions as well as creating eight goals.

His 13 Eredivisie goals has seen AZ Alkmaar same on points with Ajax at the top of the Dutch league.

Newcastle United have struggled with goal scoring this season after big summer signing Joelinton continues to flop with just a goal since joining from Hoffenheim.

Manager Steve Bruce’s side have scored only 25 goals in the English Premier League, joint lowest with Norwich but look to be closer to sustaining the league status.
