KP Boateng, Jerome Boateng name football role models

Ghana international, Kevin Prince Boateng and his younger brother, Jerome Boateng has revealed that the football role models.

The pair who are born to the same father but different mothers began their playing careers in Germany.

The former AC Milan and Barcelona forward started his career at Hertha Berlin whiles, Jerome, the former Manchester City centre back started his career at Hamburg.

In an Instagram chat, the brothers revealed their role models.

According to the Bayern Munich defender, he looked up to Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima, commonly known as Ronaldo when he was playing as a striker but later loved Chelsea and France legend, Marcel Desailly.

“It used to be Ronaldo. When I was younger I was a striker. Later, when I was a defender, it was Marcel Desailly, also because of his story that he is half-Ghanaian,” Jerome revealed.

And according to Prince Boateng, he loved Brazil legend, Rivaldo.

Boateng, 33, added that people told him he had the same stature and physic like the striker.

“For me it was Rivaldo, everyone used to say I had the same stature and style of play as him, and Zinedine Zidane,” he added.
