Euro 2024 qualifying campaign concluded this week, with nearly all the tournament spots secured.
England smoothly sailed through qualification, maintaining an unbeaten record with six victories in eight games.
Similarly, Spain, France, Belgium, and Portugal secured the top positions in their respective groups.
However, several teams fell short of securing a spot in Germany, leaving a handful of players with an extended summer break.
Here are five Premier League players who won’t be participating in Euro 2024:
Norway forward Erling Haaland

The notable absentee will be Erling Haaland (23), who, once again, finds himself on the sidelines during a significant international tournament.
Despite the Manchester City striker’s impressive six goals in the qualifying campaign, Norway concluded third in Group A.
The Lions secured only three victories in a group that included Spain, Scotland, Georgia, and Cyprus.
Martin Odegaard (Norway)

Similar to Haaland, Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard (24) will have no football activity over the summer.
Odegaard featured in seven of Norway’s eight matches during the qualifying campaign but missed the final qualifier due to injury, ruling him out for the upcoming summer tournaments.
Dejan Kulusevski (Sweden)

Sweden, another Scandinavian team, failed to qualify for Euro 2024 after a challenging campaign.
They finished third in Group F, trailing nine points behind Austria.
Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski (23) played in every game, contributing one goal and two assists.
Despite his efforts, the Blue and Yellow managed only three wins in the qualifying rounds.
Alexander Isak (Sweden)

Injury restricted Alexander Isak (24) to just five appearances in qualifying and on his day, the Newcastle forward is a handy asset that Sweden could have done with.
Isak scored once in the time he did play, which came in September against Estonia, although that is his only tally for Sweden in the last two years.
Evan Ferguson (Republic of Ireland)

Republic of Ireland faced a challenging draw in Group B with France, the Netherlands, and Greece.
As predicted, they concluded the group with only two wins and six points.
Despite the tough campaign, one of the bright spots was the opportunity to allow Brighton starlet Evan Ferguson (19) to further develop his international experience.
The teenager scored two goals, and if he can sustain his fitness, Ferguson has the potential to become a valuable asset for the Boys in Green in the future.
