Fan jumps on Adebayor’s car to see star after Atsu’s burial

When a Ghanaian football fan noticed Emmanuel Adebayor’s automobile on his way home from Christian Atsu’s state funeral on Friday, he decided to try the unthinkable and hang himself from the Togolese international’s speeding salon car in order to meet him.

The dramatic action which happened at the blind side of the police, nevertheless grabbed the notice of several mourners who were flowing out of the State House, venue for the official funeral for the late Black Stars winger.

The danger of the unidentified fan’s behavior and the reasons it shouldn’t be promoted were swiftly brought up.

Adebayor’s car was slowed down as he approached the roundabout by a small traffic bottleneck that had formed, allowing more supporters to catch up with him.

One of them told the media that the Togolese international footballer is very kind and any time he meets Ghanaian fans, he hands them money and so they would not miss that opportunity for anything.
