Chelsea’s Christian Pulisic heading to AC Milan

Christian Pulisic is on the verge of finalizing a transfer to AC Milan after the Italian Serie A club reached an agreement with Chelsea regarding the transfer fee.

The talented United States international is expected to join Milan in a deal reportedly worth €20 million, with potential add-ons included.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan is making arrangements for Pulisic to travel to Italy in order to undergo a medical examination at the club.

This transfer brings an end to a protracted saga for the 24-year-old winger. Pulisic and Milan had already agreed on personal terms several weeks ago, as the Rossoneri were his preferred destination.

However, it took some time for Milan to strike a deal with Chelsea, with reports indicating that two previous offers were rejected.

Pulisic can now move on from a disappointing stint at Chelsea, where he initially signed from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 but was immediately loaned back to the German club for an additional year.

The winger failed to live up to expectations at Chelsea, despite making 145 appearances for the club.

Pulisic featured 24 times in the Premier League last season, but only eight of those were in the starting XI, seemingly giving him no choice but to move on.
