The Black Stars have made a heartfelt plea to West Ham United, urging them to handle their prized asset, Mohammed Kudus, with the utmost care as he joins the team.
West Ham United proudly unveiled Mohammed Kudus on Sunday, August 27th, following a hard-fought battle against top European clubs to secure the services of this electrifying Ghanaian international attacker, formerly of Ajax.
At just 23 years of age, Kudus has committed to West Ham on a five-year contract, with the transfer fee remaining confidential.
His signing marks West Ham’s fourth significant addition this summer, alongside former Ajax teammate and Mexican international Edson Álvarez, Greek defender Dinos Mavropanos, and English midfielder James Ward-Prowse.
The Black Stars’ desire to safeguard their gem is not surprising, given Kudus’ remarkable track record.
He played a pivotal role in all three group matches for Ghana during the 2022 FIFA World Cup finals in Qatar, where he netted twice in a thrilling 3-2 victory over South Korea.
In total, Kudus boasts seven goals and three assists in 24 appearances for his country.
