Al-Ittihad in serious talks with Mourinho; Allegri also on clubs radar

Jose Mourinho may make a coaching comeback next season, with reports suggesting that Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Ittihad is interested in securing his services.

The Portuguese coaching legend could potentially reunite with Karim Benzema in Saudi Arabia, as Al-Ittihad reportedly eyes Mourinho as their next manager.

Mourinho, who has previously managed top clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Chelsea, has been without a club since his departure from AS Roma in January.

According to journalist Bruno Andrade, Al-Ittihad has also considered former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri for the managerial position.

Allegri recently led Juventus to Coppa Italia victory before parting ways with the Serie A club.

In addition to interest from Saudi Arabia, Mourinho is also linked with a potential move to the Turkish Super Lig, with both Fenerbahce and Besiktas expressing interest in securing his services.

With several top European clubs potentially seeking new managers, including Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Manchester United, and Chelsea, it remains uncertain where Mourinho will land for the upcoming 2024/25 campaign.
