2022 World Cup: Ghana needs to identify one strong system and master it – Asamoah Gyan

Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan wants the Black Stars to identify a defined style of play ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana lost 3-0 to Brazil and recovered to beat Nicaragua 1-0 on Tuesday in Spain through a strike from Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.

According to Gyan, the Black Stars must identify the right system to propel the team to glory at the World Cup.

“Ghana needs to identify one strong system and master it. We have good players but we need to find the right system and be very good at it. We can make tweaks when necessary but we need one system that one system that we are very good at,” he said.

The Black Stars is returning to the global showpiece after missing out in Russia 2018.

The Black Stars has been paired against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.

The biggest soccer mundial will be staged in Qatar between November and December with 32 countries set to battle it out for the ultimate.

The Black Stars will tackle Portugal in the opening game of the Group before facing Asian and South American giants South Korea and Uruguay respectively.
