The Ghana Police Service has intensified its efforts in the investigation into the tragic murder of Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer of the Cosy Hill Hotel (Jirapa Dubai) in Jirapa, Upper West Region.
Mr Johnson was found brutally murdered in one of the hotel rooms on Sunday, February 11, sending shockwaves through the community and prompting an extensive police operation.
In a recent development, the Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of two additional suspects in connection with the murder, bringing the total number of individuals in custody to seven.
Among those apprehended earlier were Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix, Michael Klugey, and Kumbata Kwaku.
Following the discovery of Johnson’s body, Inspector General of Police, George Akuffo Dampare, swiftly deployed a team of investigators to collaborate with the Upper West Regional Crime Scene Management Team. In the latest development, the two additional suspects have been identified as Charles Tuoze and Favour Nuobe, both employees of the Cosy Hill Hotel. They are currently being detained by the police and are assisting with ongoing investigations into the murder.
