Ghanaian internet sensation Afua Asantewaa has addressed criticisms from social media users who continuously find fault with her actions.
Asantewaa gained widespread recognition after successfully completing her Guinness World Record singing marathon last December.
However, her subsequent activities have come under scrutiny on social media platforms.
In a recently posted self-recorded video, the journalist and tourism ambassador shared her thoughts with those who have been critical of her. Predictably, her remarks have sparked further controversy among netizens.
“Some people on social media are intimidated anytime they see you on their timeline. They don’t know you from anywhere, They might not had an acquaintance with you but they hate you, and they say you post too much.” she said.
Some Ghanaians find this comment offensive, believing Afua is taking advantage of her newfound celebrity.
