Ghanaian singer King Promise has shared his dream of making a global impact while also leaving a significant mark on the local music scene.
Reflecting on his journey, he recalled the pivotal moment when he first listened to R2Bees‘ “Slow Down.” It was then he realized that creating such music could propel him to become a global music icon.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Accra-based Starr FM, King Promise said,
“From the very start, that has always been the goal. When I heard R2Bees’ ‘Slow Down,’ I knew that was the kind of artist I wanted to be.”
He emphasized his ambition to create music that transcends borders, resonating not only in Ghana but across Africa and the world.
“I’ve dedicated myself to this pursuit, and while I’m grateful for where I am now, I see it as just the beginning,” he shared with Bola Ray.
