The funeral program for the late John Okafor, known as ‘Mr. Ibu‘, has been revealed by the Central Planning Committee, consisting of his family and friends.
According to an online poster, the burial will take place from Tuesday, June 25, to Thursday, June 30. Several events are planned to honor his memory.
The committee is also seeking financial contributions from well-wishers to ensure a dignified farewell for the beloved Nollywood icon. More details about the funeral arrangements will be shared soon.
Mr. Ibu, aged 62, passed away after battling a prolonged illness that led to recurrent hospitalizations over the past year.

Tuesday, June 25: Novelty Match between Celebrities and Rangers FC
Wednesday, June 26: NIGHT OF TRIBUTE (Life and Time of Mr. Ibu)
Thursday, June 27: Wake-keep in his hometown, Amurri Nkanu West LGA Enugu State
Friday, June 28: Burial Ceremony
Sunday, June 30: Thanksgiving Service
