Kuoro Abu Diyaka Sukabe Ninia, the Paramount Chief of the Buwaa Traditional Area, bestowed upon former President John Dramani Mahama the prestigious chieftaincy title of Kuoro Sabinwero Wajia I.
The title, signifying a ‘leader with good intentions and an immaculate heart,’ was granted by the Zini Kuoro in recognition of Mahama’s demonstrated honesty, visionary leadership, and his positive contributions to the well-being of the Ghanaian people and governance.
During a courtesy visit to the paramount chief’s palace as part of the NDC flagbearer #BuildingGhanaTour in the Upper West Region, Kuoro Abu Diyaka Sukabe Ninia drew parallels between Mahama and the late Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
He emphasised that the former president embodies the ideals of good thoughts and selflessness, making a lasting impact on Ghana’s modern political history.
Addressing the chiefs and residents of Zini in the Sissala West Constituency, John Mahama expressed gratitude to Zini Kuoro and his council for the esteemed honour.
He pledged his unwavering commitment to selflessness and diligence in serving the nation and its people.
