Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, the head pastor of Believers Worship Center, expressed confusion and dismay over the criticism directed at him following actor LilWin’s recent accident, which tragically resulted in the death of three-year-old Tawiah Ampomah.
The pastor clarified that LilWin did not visit his church to give thanks to God after the accident, contrary to claims suggesting he was there to participate in a church service.
“It’s baffling that some have called for my arrest over this matter,” the prophet stated during a sermon to his congregation in Twi. “If a church member faces an accident now, they say come and arrest Kyei Cudjoe. It’s become that bad.”
Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah also highlighted the severity of LilWin’s condition after the accident, noting that the actor was coughing up blood at his movie premiere.
He attributed LilWin’s recovery to divine intervention, sharing that the actor removed his neck brace after receiving prayers from the church.
Meanwhile, LilWin was recently granted bail by the Asokore Mampong District Court after being arrested on charges of dangerous driving and causing harm through negligence.
The case has been adjourned to July 29, 2024, pending advice from the Attorney General’s office.
Despite the legal proceedings, a video circulating online showed LilWin recording a song with singer Kwaku Flick from his hospital bed, sparking further public attention and scrutiny.
