Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong has caught the attention of Bayern Munich and Manchester United, as reported by Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Deutschland.
Several top clubs are monitoring the 23-year-old wing-back, who has impressed this season with eight goals and seven assists in 25 league appearances for Die Werkself.
There’s speculation that a release clause in Frimpong’s contract, valued at €45 million, could be triggered, but he remains under contract at the BayArena until 2028.
With manager Xabi Alonso committing to Leverkusen, Frimpong may consider staying, especially considering his improved performances under Alonso’s guidance since October 2022.
