The situation in Gaza got worse on Thursday because Israeli planes kept bombing the crowded area in response to violent attacks by Hamas. The Israeli government formed an emergency group to handle the war situation and told hospitals to get ready for more violence.

The long-standing conflict between Israelis and Palestinians reached a new and unknown situation this week when Israel experienced its most severe attack by Palestinian militants since it was established 75 years ago.

Israel has increased its attacks in Gaza after Hamas‘ attack on October 7th. During this attack, armed militants crossed the well-protected border into Israel.

The attackers shot and killed over 1,200 people, and injured many more, as they moved together through farms and towns. They also held around 150 people as hostages.

The terrible acts have made people all over the world feel extremely disgusted, and the government of Israel has promised to get rid of Hamas, a group that keeps shooting rockets at Israeli towns for the past five days.

More than 1,100 people have been killed in Gaza, including many women and children.

Many people have been hurt as Israeli airstrikes keep hitting the packed area, destroying buildings and leaving streets in ruins, with people unable to escape.

Israel has set up a complete blockade on an area with 2 million people. They have stopped providing electricity, food, water, and fuel to that area.

Over 330,000 people in Gaza have been forced to leave their homes, according to a statement by the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs on Thursday.

The only power station in Gaza stopped working because it ran out of fuel, according to Galal Ismail, the head of the Gaza power authority.

Hospitals in Palestine may run out of fuel on Thursday, which could lead to very serious conditions, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Videos and pictures from the besieged enclave show very sad and heartbreaking scenes.

Body parts are all over the place. Some people are still not found,” a man from the neighborhood of Al-Karama in the north said. We are still searching for our brothers and children. It feels like we are trapped in a bad dream.

The video shows people in Israel trying to protect themselves in a bomb shelter while Hamas is attacking.

In reaction to Hamas attacking, Israel has gathered around 300,000 reservists near the Gaza border. This is a big gathering of people considering Israel has a population of 9 million.

The IDF said they are still attacking places belonging to the terrorist group Hamas in the Gaza strip. People think they might also send soldiers into Gaza.

We have sent our foot soldiers, tank operators, and artillery team, along with additional soldiers from our backup forces. Rewrite: There are 300,000 people divided into different groups in the brigades. The lieutenant is referring to them. Colis short for Colonel. Jonathan Conricus spoke on Wednesday.

“They are now near the Gaza Strip, preparing to carry out the mission they have been given,” he said.

Israel’s government is getting ready to handle any increases in security concerns by making sure its hospitals and healthcare system are prepared, according to the health ministry.

Hamas’ attack has caused political unity in Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and National Unity Party leader Benny Gantz have come together to announce an emergency government and war management cabinet on Wednesday.

Gantz, who used to be in charge of defense, will be part of a cabinet with Netanyahu and the current defense minister, Yoav Gallant, during times of war.

There is a time when countries fight and a time when countries are at peace. Now is the time for war, Gantz said on TV.

We are making a diplomatic effort to try and bring people together for discussions and negotiations.

The President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, is going to meet with the US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, on Friday. This meeting has been confirmed by an official from the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

Before that meeting, Abbas is expected to meet King Abdullah II of Jordan in Amman on Thursday.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) was formed in the Israeli-controlled West Bank in 1993 after Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) made an agreement called the Oslo Accords. It means that the PLO was told to stop fighting against Israel and agree to a peaceful solution. In return, they were promised their own separate country next to Israel.

The PA and Hamas compete against each other.

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman received a call from Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday to talk about the increasing military conflicts in Gaza.

Hamas has been launching horrifying attacks in Israel. Every day, there are new stories of terrible acts taking place, as well as incredible stories of people surviving and showing great courage during the violence.

Tom Hand, who lives in a place called Be’eri, which is a type of community, found out that his daughter Emily, who is only 8 years old, was killed by Hamas gunmen.

I knew she wasn’t by herself, she wasn’t in Gaza, and she wasn’t in a crowded, scary room where she could be pushed around and feel scared all the time, maybe for many years. “He said death was a good thing,” he told CNN, his voice sounding sad, tears rolling down his exhausted, pale face.

Hamas taking many hostages makes it harder for Israel to decide how to respond.

On Wednesday, Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus, a spokesperson for the international Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), informed CNN that Israeli authorities think the hostages are being kept underground.

“He said that it’s logical for them to be underground. ”

He said that despite Israel’s previous encounters with hostage situations, they have never experienced anything quite like this.

Izzat al-Risheq, an important member of Hamas, said on Wednesday that it is still not the right time to trade Israeli hostages.

“Many Arab and non-Arab countries called Hamas leaders outside their country to ask if it was possible to exchange Israeli captives for Hamas prisoners,” said al-Risheq from Doha, Qatar.

“But we told everyone that it is too soon to talk about it while Israel keeps attacking Gaza and killing Palestinian people without choosing who to target. ”

The constant attacks have been causing more and more harm to Gaza.

Over two million Palestinians, including over a million children, live in the Gaza Strip. This area has been under a blockade by Israel since 2007, restricting their access to land, sea, and air.

For almost 17 years, this place has been mostly isolated from the rest of the world. This happened when Hamas took control, causing Israel and Egypt to block its land, air, and sea access. This blockage has continued until now.

The UNRWA, which helps Palestinian refugees, needs $104 million right away to assist the people affected by the increased fighting in Gaza.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini said that what is happening right now is a humanitarian tragedy like no other before. No matter what is going on, rules still need to be followed during times of conflict, and this situation is no different. Help needs to be given right away to people who have no place to go. They need water, food, and medicine.

“We are very concerned because what is happening now has never happened before,” said Najla Shawa, a worker from Oxfam in Gaza, talking to CNN. We are discussing large areas, not just a single area. Large areas are completely getting wiped out and destroyed.

Hospitals have too many injured patients right now, and some of them are kids.

A small girl in a hospital, with blood on her face, told CNN that while she was sleeping, everything suddenly started falling on them.

“Someone arrived and gave me assistance, they brought me directly to the hospital. ” But I don’t know what happened to all of my sisters.
