Grammy-recognised producer Guilty Beatz born Ronald Banful, expressed his eagerness to collaborate with two fellow Ghanaian artists during an interview with Afi on the Stay By Plan podcast.
He mentioned Lasmid and Olivetheboy, saying, “These boys, yeah, I see something.”
While he didn’t elaborate on his reasons, he noted, “The only person I haven’t worked with is Shatta Wale.”
On an international level, Guilty Beatz revealed his interest in working with Victoria Monet, emphasizing his focus on the music itself: “It’s about music for me. It’s about the kind of music [the artist] makes. If I love it that much, I’m like, ‘Bro, we need to work.’”
Guilty Beatz has made significant strides internationally, having contributed to Beyoncé’s Grammy-nominated album The Gift: The Lion King and her Grammy-winning album Renaissance. He is also a frequent collaborator with Nigerian Grammy-winner Tems.
In Ghana, he has collaborated with notable artists such as Mr Eazi, Pappy Kojo, Sarkodie, King Promise, Efya, and M.anifest.
Currently, Olivetheboy’s latest hit is “Asylum,” while Lasmid’s is “Puul.”
