An enraged supporter has unleashed a torrent of criticism, particularly targeting goalkeeper Richard Ofori.
The audio clip, circulating on Twitter now X, captures the fan expressing vehement frustration over the match.
“Richard, “what you’ve done, no one in this world can condone such actions. You’re not the only one who may have taken bribes. Why did you touch the ball for a corner?”
The incensed fan vented in a local dialect, expressing deep disappointment in Ofori’s performance.
The unidentified fan went on to issue a stern warning to the under pressure goalkeeper, advising him to avoid returning to Ghana at all costs.
“Use the Ivory Coast route to South Africa; don’t make the mistake of coming back to Ghana. It won’t end well for you. If you return, we will not spare you,” the angry supporter declared.
The draw against Mozambique dashed the Black Stars’ hopes of ending their 42-year trophy drought, leaving them in third place in Group B.
Both Ghana and Mozambique finished with two points each after three matches, while Cape Verde and Egypt secured 7 and 4 points, respectively, advancing to the round of 16 in the ongoing 34th edition of AFCON.
